How Do You Extract ISO Image Files?
An ISO file is a duplicate, or mirror, of a CD/DVD disc. This image file contains all of the contents of the CD/DVD disc. ISO files allow you to save virtual copies of your CDs/DVDs on your hard drive. The program MagicISO can take this image file and extract the contents of the file to a location on your hard drive. Download and install MagicISO into your computer by following the installation instructions. The program can be downloaded from magiciso.com/download.htm. Run the MagicISO software by clicking on its desktop icon. Locate the ISO file you want to extract and open it by clicking on it. Select the directories and files of the ISO that you want to extract. Click on the “Extract” button, which is the icon of a folder with a green right arrow in it. This will open the “ISO Extractor.” Select your destination directory. Tthis is the location that the extracted ISO contents will be sent to. Check “All Files” in the “Extract To” window to extract all of the content in the ISO file.
