How Do You Extract Files With Winrar?
WinRAR is a popular file extraction and compression software program. The software’s main purpose is to compress data and archive it into smaller size folders. The program will also open compressed folders such as ZIP files, ARJ, LZH, TAR, GZ, ACE, UUE, BZ2, JAR, ISO, EXE, 7z and Z archives and extract the contents of these folders and archives onto your computer. Download and install WinRAR. Open WinRAR. When the software opens it will automatically display all the files and folders on your desktop. You can select the down-facing arrow above the file list to select a different folder on your computer that contains the files you will be extracting. Select the zip folder or other compressed folder. Press the “Extract To” button at the top of the interface. Browse your computer on the right side of the window and select a folder that you want to extract your files to (e.g. the desktop). Select the “OK” button. Your files are now extracted.
