How Do You Extend Iphone 3G Battery Life?
Here are a few tips that seem to be making a difference in the battery life on my 3g iphone. Turn off wifi. I have noticed that turning off the wifi has made a very noticeable difference in my battery life. I only turn it on when I need a wifi signal for web browsing or quick email. If you are not going to be using it then turn it off. Go to settings/wifi/ and then toggle it off. Turn off 3g. I know thats the point of the phone but again if you are not going to be using it, why have it suck battery life. I disable my 3g until I have a need for the higher speed. Go to settings/general/network and toggle off 3g. Its only necessary if you need fast data downloads so if you do not need that feature for a while than switch it off and save some battery. Set push settings to manual or to fetch data at higher intervals. This feature allows your email to be updated automatically as your email server receives it. If that is not a priority for you or you do not mind just checking it manually ever
