How Do You Export A Quicken Transaction File?

0

One of the powerful features of Quicken is the ability to export transaction information and account details for use in other financial or accounting software programs. This is done by first converting the data to Quicken Interchange Format, or QIF. Once it is converted, the data can be exported to an external storage device for use later in another program. Start the Quicken software and choose the appropriate data file to be exported. From the File menu, choose Export to QIF file. In the QIF File Name field, enter a name for the data file so that you can properly identify it in the future. Select the Browse button to choose a location on your computer hard drive to save the data file. In the Account to Export From list, pick the account containing the transactions you wish to export. In the Include Transactions in Dates section, choose the beginning and ending date range for the transactions you want. In the Include in Export list, choose those specific transactions you want included
