How Do You Explore The Lake Coeur Dalene Scenic Byway?
Travel the Lake Coeur d’ Alene Scenic Byway beginning at the junction of Interstate 90 and Idaho 97. This route follows Idaho 97 going toward the south and then to the eastern shoreline of the lake to Idaho 3. During the summer months, the Lake Coeur d’Alene (cör-da-lane) Scenic Byway portrays an area where the omnipotent Creator of lakes, mountains, and a variety of native animal populations, has succeeded in making one of the most beautiful places in the world. The Mineral Ridge Trail offers panoramic views of the Lake. Continuing through the hills and forests, you enter the mountain town, called Harrison. Too soon, the byway ends at Idaho 3, where it turns into White Pine Scenic Byway with its route pointing to the South.This route takes 1 or 2 hours to pass through and is 35.8 miles.
