How Do You Examine Green Party Candidates?
One of the first recognized Green Parties was the German Green Party. Founded in 1980, the German Green Party spoke out against nuclear power and eventually influenced Germany to cease its reliance on nuclear energy. Since 1980, Green Parties have been created in many different countries on every inhabited continent. In some countries, like Finland, Green Party candidates have reached national offices. In the United States, Green Party candidates are achieving success at state and local levels. Sometimes, it can be hard to examine Green Party candidates, because the party does not enjoy the same level of press coverage that other parties receive.
