How Do You Erase & Eject In A Magnavox TV Triple Combo?
A Magnavox TV triple combo includes a television, DVD player and VCR built into a single component. The combo unit has two media doors on the front panel, one for DVDs and the other for inserting video cassettes. You can erase VHS tapes using the VCR’s record function, as well as eject media from either the DVD player or the VCR. Turn a VHS cassette in your hands to examine the rear edge on the left side. A small square of plastic may be covering a square opening on the left edge of the cassette. This is the anti-erase protection feature. If the plastic is broken out of the cassette, cut a small square of masking tape and affix it over the square hole in the cassette to record over the tape. Insert the VHS cassette through the gate on the VCR on the front of the Magnavox unit and press the “Rewind” button to return the tape to the beginning, if necessary.
