How Do You Erase Cookies To Increase Computer Speed?
A cookie is a piece of information, such as an email password, that is saved in your web browser. If your web searches start taking more time to complete than normal, you may think that there is a problem with the Internet connection. The reason for the slow browser speed may actually be the cookies that have been saved in the browser. These saved cookies can be removed from browsers like Internet Explorer and Firefox in a minute or less. Open the Internet Explorer browser. Click the “Safety” category at the top of the browser. A menu will open. Choose the “Delete Browsing History” option. Click the “Cookies” square in the window. That square will be checked. Click “Delete.” The cookies will be erased. Open the Firefox browser. Click “Tools” at the top of the browser. Choose “Clear Recent History.” A small window will open. Click the “Time range to clear” box at the top of the window. Select “Everything.” Click the “Cookies” square in the “Clear Recent History” box. Click “Clear Now.”
