How Do You Erase CD-Rws?

0

Compact Disc Rewritable (CD-RW) is an optical disc that allows you to upload and save information for multiple sessions. Much like floppy discs, you can write data multiple times without any limitations unlike the CD-R, which contain read-only protections. Because of their rewritable capabilities, you can erase a CD-RW disc completely and gain back the full default memory space of 700 MB. Insert your CD-RW disc into the CD-RW drive on your computer. When the automatic load window opens, close it. Double click “My Computer” on the desktop. Right click the CD-RW drive with your disc and click “Open.” Click “Erase this CD-RW.” The CD-RW wizard will open. Click “Next.” The CD-RW disc will be erased automatically. Click “Finish.” Insert your CD-RW disc in the CD-RW drive on your Macintosh. Double click your hard drive from the desktop. Click “Applications” and click “Disk Utility.” Click the “Erase” tab.
