How Do You Enjoy The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta?
Unique entertainment awaits you as you journey to Albuquerque, New Mexico from Oct. 3 through the 12th. Step 1 Plan ahead. If you are coming from out-of-state, book your flight, hotel and rental car well in advance (months is not too early) for the Oct. 3-12 event. Try to get a hotel on the west side of town, near the balloon lift-off field. Not to worry though: Albuquerque is not very spread out, and you can get almost anywhere in a half hour or less. Public buses and shuttle service services are clean, convenient, economical and energy-saving. Step 2 Wear comfortable clothes and good walking shoes.
