How Do You Enjoy An Outdoor Festival Or Concert?
• Stay hydrated. Drink lots of water. Do not drink soda, because anything with caffeine in it will cause you to become dehydrated, making it hard for you to be physically active. • Don’t wear flip-flops or shoes that fall of easily. Your feet will most likely get squished. Wear regular shoes. • Bring a hat, & wear sunscreen. You do not have to do this if the event is indoors, or at night. • Avoid putting your wallet or money in your back pocket. This will make you a target for pickpockets. Put it in a side or front pocket, and attach the wallet to a chain. That way, no thieves can steal your wallet, and you don’t risk identity theft. • Bring money to buy water, food, etc. Many concert halls and fairgrounds don’t allow you to bring your own food, but you can purchase some once inside. However, food/water is often overpriced, so do your best to sneak it in. Try not to be out in the sun too long if you can help it.
