How Do You Enjoy A Short Hike At Point Reyes National Seashore?
The Point Reyes Peninsula, on the Marin coast, is a popular Northern California getaway. People do, however, tend to come only for the beaches and the whale-watching, and so miss much of what this large and varied place has to offer. Point Reyes, like any wild area, reveals its secrets when you explore it on foot. Most of the area is run by either the National Park Service as a National Seashore, or by the California state park system. There are plenty of trails to explore, including some short trails that nearly everyone can hike. Take the usual precautions that anyone should when engaging in an outdoor activity.
