The first thing you might to be aware of is the fact that an incredible photo opportunity exists just outside of the center. Floating atop an illuminated reflecting pool since 1980, sits the tomb of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Since her death in 2006, Coretta Scott King is entombed there as well, side by side with her husband. Make sure that you visit Ebenezer Baptist Church. It is the historic church where both Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Sr. were pastors. Ebenezer is adjacent to the side of the center with the reflecting pool.
