Adobe Photoshop is a great program for rendering new photo creations, but the advanced tools also allow users to improve on existing pictures they have taken. Using specialized settings and the tools in the program, you can make someone’s eyes stand out in a picture and become its focus, enhancing the shot and making it memorable. Open Adobe Photoshop and import a photo. The photo should be clear and in focus, especially in the eyes. A photo works best if the subject is staring directly into the camera. Choose the Dodge tool from the Adobe Photoshop toolbar. The tool looks like a black lollipop; if it is not visible, it is underneath the Burn tool. Click on the “Range” pull-down menu at the top of the screen and select the option marked “Highlights.” This will enhance the brightest parts of the eyes and make them stand out.
