This Photoshop tutorial will show you a fast technique to enhance the eyes and make them stand out. First start with a typical flat image. This technique works best for light-colored eyes. Go to the DODGE tool and choose MIDTONES, Let’s set the exposure but not too high, choose 26 percent with your image. Hover your dodge tool over the iris for a few times up and down and let the eye lighten up a bit. Now discard the setting ‘midtones’ and choose the HIGHLIGHTS at the dodge tool panel, and apply the same process to the iris. If you go too far you can always go to EDIT -> FADE and have a smoother transition to choose from, I tend to put a lot and then ease on down by using a FADE after the application.
