How Do You Enforce Referential Integrity In Access 2003?
In Microsoft Access 2003, referential integrity rules prevent the creation of orphan records in the table on the many side of the one-to-many relationship. Referential integrity between tables is enforced by default when you create a relationship in your database diagram. While Access enforces this for the user by default, the user can still toggle it on and off. Here are some steps on how to enforce referential integrity in Access 2003. On the “Database” toolbar, click the “Relationships” button to open the “Relationships” window. Click the “Show Table” button if the “Show Table” dialog box does not show on the toolbar.
