How do you enable system restore?
System Restore in Windows Vista allows you to reverse negative changes made on your computer. It creates restore points you can revert your computer to if you accidentally delete vital system files, or have malicious parasites affecting system files. You may have turned System Restore off when removing viruses and Trojans, or when performing troubleshooting repair steps. Re-enable System Restore quickly and safely. Click the Windows “Start” menu and right-click on “My Computer.” Scroll down the pop-up menu and click “Properties.” A new dialog box launches. Click the “Advanced Settings” link and click “Allow.” Click the “System Protection” tab and place a check on the hard drive you want to enable system restore for. Select the “C:” drive if you want to enable System Restore for your computer’s hard disk.
