HI if you only put in a small amount of petrol fill the tank with diesel it may loose some power but most motors will run ok.If you filled the tank check under the rear seat to see if the tank sender gauge is located under a large rubber grommet if so you can take out the tank sender/gauge and syphon from here but you will need a low catch tank or a ramp.
