How Do You Emboss With Cuttlebug?
The Cuttlebug machine is a 2-in-1 dye cutter and embosser. The dye cutout portion of the machine cuts paper patterns in the color chosen. The embossing portion adds intricate designs to the paper patterns by carefully stamping them in. The Cuttlebug machine is great for DIY cards and paper crafts. Place the B plate on top of platform B. Place the dye, facing up, on top of the B plate. Place a sheet of card stock on top of the B plate. Put your other B plate on top of the card stock. Put the stack you’ve just created on one side of the Cuttlebug’s platform. Run the stack of supplies through the Cuttlebug machine by turning the hand crank on the side of the Cuttlebug. Take the dye cut you’ve just made out of the stack of materials and place it in an embossing folder. Place the embossing folder between the two B plates. Run these materials through the Cuttlebug machine by turning the hand crank. Take your newly embossed design out of the embossing folder.
