How Do You Embellish Blown Glass Ornaments?
A craft that is easy and fun to do is to jazz up plain blown glass ornaments. You can embellish ornaments with nothing more than a little hot glue and various small items like rhinestones, tiny trinkets and bows. Decide beforehand if you are going for a specific theme in your ornaments, whether it be with the colors or design. You can also add glitter for extra sparkle, and even strategically apply the glue in certain shapes or designs to accompany the glitter. Plug in a hot glue gun. Lay out all the embellishments you’d like to add to the specific ornament and decide where and how you’d like everything to lay. You can create patterns, shapes or even small clusters of embellishment that only take up one side of the ornament. Add a dot of hot glue to the blown glass ornament before adding a rhinestone, small jewel or bow to the ornament.
