vCards are the Microsoft Outlook equivalent of a business card and they allow you to provide all of your contact information to business associates via email. Add your information to your Outlook contacts and save it as a .vcf file in order to have it available to email. Emailing a vCard is the same as emailing other attachments such as Word or Excel documents. Step 1 Create a new email message. Step 2 Select “Insert” from the drop-down menu and click “File.” Step 3 Choose the saved vCard file and select “Open.” The vCard is now attached to your Outlook message. Complete the email message, insert the recipient’s address and send.
