How Do You Eliminate Cat Litter Odors?
There it is again….that smell…the one that almost everyone can instantly recognize…cat litter odor! Although you can’t eliminate the cat litter odor completely, there are some things that you can do to reduce it significantly. Clean the cat litter box daily. Scoop at least once a day and more if you have multiple cats. You might also consider having more than one litter box if you more than one cat but you will still want to scoop daily. Place the litter pans on surfaces that are easily swept and washed. Since accidents or misjudgments do occur, you will want to be able to clean up the area quickly and completely. Since cats don’t like the feel of litter on their feet, they tend to fling it everywhere. The litter that leaves the box and gets embedded in the carpeting can add to the cat litter odor problem.
