Once you have read the Book of Mormon and you have had the confirmation of its truthfulness, how do you effectively study so that you gain the greatest benefit from your study time? How do you prepare to read not only for understanding, but for help in your personal life? • Pray for understanding, for ways to apply what you read and a testimony of the truthfulness of the things you read. Pray before every study session. • Decide on a topic you want to study in-depth.
