Interactive Portable Document Format (PDF) forms contain form fields that users can fill in, such as text fields, check boxes and items from a list. You’ll know a form is interactive when you open it using Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader. After selecting either the “Select” or “Hand” tool, if the pointer changes as you scroll over different form fields, the form can be filled in.
