How Do You Easily Remove Blood Stains?

0

If you ever cut yourself and get blood on your clothing or carpets, here is how to get it off. Purchase a bottle of 3% hydrogen peroxide at your local grocery or drug store. Soak a cloth with peroxide and dab it liberally on the blood stain. You will see the blood stain begin to fade away almost instantly. Peroxide works by breaking the molecular bonds in proteins, so it will work, but not as well, on grass stains or other organic stains. If the blood stain doesn’t totally disappear, dab it with some more peroxide. Dried blood is more difficult to remove than fresh blood, but it should come off. Rinse the peroxide soaked fabric with warm water. I have never seen the common 3% hydrogen peroxide bleach the color out of anything, but peroxide is a bleach in higher concentrations. You may want to try a test in a location that cannot be seen before applying it to the stain.
