How Do You Easily Fix Scratched Cds/Dvds/Console Games?
How often do you go to play your favorite DVD, CD or Console Game only to find that it skips, won’t play at all or only plays so far before it stops working? Well read on for a very simple process that I personally use often to fix our DVDs, CDs and console games. The first step is to dab liberally smooth, plain toothpaste on the scratches of the DVD/CD/Console Game. We want to use smooth toothpaste without whitening crystals so we don’t damage the DVD even more. Some suggest using kid’s Crest but really any type will do. I’ve used all kinds as long as they don’t have any particulates in the toothpaste. Make sure to rub the toothpaste well into the scratches with your finger. I generally use a circular pattern to ensure the toothpaste gets into the scratches thoroughly in all directions. Once the toothpaste starts to get sticky and dries a bit after rubbing in a circular pattern it’s time to start rinsing off the toothpaste. Using your finger rinse off the toothpaste under cold water.
