How Do You Easily Create A Beautiful Oil Painting?
Oil painting is my favorite variety of art because these paints are SO easy to create wonderful blends and textures. It doesn’t take a mastermind to be a great painter, but here are a few tips to make things a little easier. =) You’ll need to make sure you set up all your supplies beforehand. Organization frees your mind to be able to focus more on your ideas and creativity and worry less about where everything is. Make sure you have a spacious area to work in. – Tear out a large sheet of aluminum foil and fold it over a couple of times. This will act as a ‘mixing tray’, and the folding will make it a little more sturdy. – Set out your paints, brushes, and paint thinner. You’ll need the thinner for the oil paints because the paint pretty much just repels the water. The picture to the left shows my preferred painting setup. You will want to set the thinner on the opposite side of the hand you use. For instance, I am right handed so my thinner and towel will be on the left side. This wil
