I clean our filter about every 2 weeks and use them alot longer by doing so. First, I remove the filter by the instructions. Then, use the hose pipe full force to remove as much debris as possible. Let the filter drain for a few minutes. Next, spray the grooves very well with Clorox cleanup. Let it sit for about 15 minutes then rinse with the hose pipe very well. It’s best to allow the filter to dry as much as possible before placing back into pump. If the filter is very dirty, you can repeat this process. You will be surprised how much more use you will get out of one filter. Trying to save the dollar is a must in todays world.
