How Do You Easily Clean A Crystal Chandelier?

0

While chandeliers are pretty, they can be a bit tricky to clean. No one likes to pull a chandelier apart to clean each piece. The following steps will help you clean your chandelier quicker and easier, with less mess. Begin by moving anything that is under the chandelier. Place a layer of towels directly under the chandelier. Add a layer or two of newspapers over top of your towels. To avoid getting any cleaner into the sockets of the light, place a small plastic bag over each light. A sandwich bag will work great for this. Tie the bags into place using a twist tie or rubber band. Using a window or glass cleaner, spray each pendent until the spray runs clear. The dirt will drip down unto the towels below. You can let the chandelier air dry, or you can polish the pendents by gently buffing with a soft cloth.
