You can gain magical tattoos that will bolster your character’s abilities in the PC role-playing game Planescape Torment. When you complete certain quests or convince people to join your band of adventurers, then new tattoos become available. You can earn the Ignus Tattoo, which raises a character’s resistance to fire, by getting the wizard named Ignus to join your party. Play through the game to the point where you explore the catacombs below the city of Sigil. Go into the area called the Drowned Nations and find the room to the north with the body of a dead ghoul. Search the trash heap in the room and take the item called the Decanter of Endless Water. Head into the Weeping Stone Catacombs and talk to the stone face carved into the wall. Ask the face about the Decanter so that it will activate the Decanter’s power, but tell you that you still need to find a magic command word to use it.
