Dual-booting Windows XP and Fedora is not a very difficult thing to do. The Fedora software available from the main Fedora repository as of 2010 offered the option to automatically and safely shrink your Windows partition so that you can easily arrange to have both operating systems coexist on a single computer and a single hard drive. The Fedora software will also automatically arrange for a boot menu to let you choose which operating system you want to use. Insert your Fedora Live CD and reboot your computer.
