How Do You Dry Out Fresh Herbs In A Microwave?

0

Fresh herbs can add more taste in our cooking but not always conveniently available. If you have some fresh herb you purchased at the market or have grown in your garden and want to dry them out quickly for future use then here are a few steps to help you achieve that. Gently wash the herbs and then carefully take the leaves from the stem of the herb and place on a paper towel in a single layer. Place the paper towel with herb leaves in microwave and cook on high for 1 minute, when done take out and turn leaves over and microwave again for another minute. Do not over microwave them because it will give them a burnt taste. Repeat step two for 15 seconds at a time until they are dried. Place in the container you have chosen. Write the name of the herb on the labels you have using the permanent marker. Place the label on the container.
