• Disconnect the battery as soon as possible. The battery is the part of the digital camera that is most likely to be damaged by the water. The camera is more vulnerable to water damage if it’s under tension. • Remove any memory sticks. • Put enough rice into a bowl/container that you can bury your camera in it. • Submerge your camera into the bowl of rice. Make sure the camera is completely covered. • Wait for the moisture to drain out of the camera for a few nights or up to a week. Don’t try to turn it back on before it’s completely dry.
