How Do You Dry A Bouquet Of Flowers?

0

I love the whimsy of saving unique soda bottles or foreign beer bottles and filling them with fresh or dried flowers. Below is a great way to dry a bouquet of flowers and liven up your living space. Use a bouquet from a wedding ceremony, a bunch of flowers from your lover (lucky you!), or just treat yourself to some flowers at the market and dry them after a few days. What a lovely idea! Gather the fresh flowers at the stem. Pat the bottoms of the stems dry with a cloth. Tie a string about the flowers to gather them together. Hang the bouquet upside down. Spray the flowers liberally with strong hold hair spray. Make sure to pay particular attention to the petals of the flowers. Your flowers should be ready in just a few days. Show them off! I put my dried flowers in pretty bottles that I have washed and saved or in old-fashioned, stainless steel watering pots. (Ikea sells inexpensive ones). It’s a great way to add a splash of color and warmth to a room.
