How Do You Draw An Equilateral Triangle?
Whether you are just learning the basics of geometry or you are designing and implementing equilateral triangles into art, they can be a bit tricky to draw. Each angle must be exactly 60 degrees for it to be a true equilateral triangle. Here’s how to draw it. Mark a point near the center of your page. It does not have to be exact, but as close to the center as possible will give you an easier time down the line. Put your compass on the dot you just drew and draw a circle. The larger the circle, the larger the triangle, so adjust for your needs. Select a point anywhere on the edge of that circle. Make a dot. Place the compass on the second dot and draw a circle that is the exact same size. The second circle will pass through the first circle.
