How Do You Draw A Sprite (Microsoft Paint)?

• Open up your image program (e.g. Microsoft Paint). • Draw a basic model of the sprite, in any color other than black, and using the pencil tool. At this point it doesn’t have to look too good, so don’t make it look perfect. • Take black and go over the model, leaving out any unnecessary pixels. After you’ve done that, take the eraser and delete any remaining parts of the basic model. • Fill in all the basic colors (preferably with the lightest hue). • Start shading, depending on where you want the light source to be. Ask yourself, are you satisfied with your work? If not, make any changes you feel necessary.
