How Do You Draw A Spiral Staircase In Perspective?
Perspective drawing can make your drawings much more realistic, as well as adding depth. Drawing a spiral staircase in perspective can seem like a difficult task. However, if you stick to single-point perspective, you can accomplish the image with relative ease. Once you master a spiral staircase in single-point perspective, you can attempt other perspective drawings. Using a pencil, draw the vanishing point (the point toward which all the lines congregate and recede) in the middle bottom portion of the page. Draw nine straight lines extending from the vanishing point. These lines will act as “perspective guard rails” and help you keep everything in proportion. Add a spiral curve that starts near the left side of the vanishing point. Curve this line around out from the vanishing point until the line goes off the top-right side of the paper. Add another spiral parallel to the first one to complete the guideline for the staircase. Draw small curves around the outside of the spiral stair
