How Do You Draw A Diagram Of An Arachnid Body?
Drawing the body of an arachnid, or spider, is a good way to teach children about the insect world and the different parts of the spider. It is also useful for book illustrations and other art projects. To draw a particular species of spider, adapt each body segment into the shape and size of that particular species. Look at a photograph of the spider you want to draw. Use a live specimen for an even better model, if possible. Begin with the head. Draw eight eyes on the head. Draw two jaws on the head, with a small mouth in between them. Draw the rest of the cephalothorax, which is the head and thorax fused together. Make the cephalothorax round, unless your spider species is significantly different. Leave a clear demarcation between the cephalothorax and the next body segment for the spider’s waist-this is the pedicel. Sketch the second body area, the abdomen. Shape the abdomen to the particular species, or make it round if you are drawing a generic spider. Add eight legs to the spide
