• Draw a smiley face: just 2 long lines going down and a smiley-slightly-curved-upwards mouth beneath. • Make the smiley mouth go up about another centimetre or so. Now you have a face. • Draw a small line or dot for the nose and a small smile for the mouth. Add hair and glasses (which are optional depending on the type of character you want to draw). • Draw a neck beneath your face and from that draw a thin, long trapezoid shape. Divide it into half and make the 2nd half either pants or a skirt. • Add sleeves to the shirt and if the character is wearing a short sleeved shirt, draw a long line going down for an arm, and then a circle for the hand. If a long sleeved shirt just draw the circles. • Do the same for legs but but with a semicircle flat side down curved side up for feet. Add accessories and decorate the clothes if you wish! Now your character is all done!
