Draft running backs early. The NFL has less depth at running back and you won’t be able to find good value late in the draft. Draft quarterbacks late. Unless you get one of the top 3, there are many solid, quality QB’s available late in the draft. You can use your earlier picks on other positions. Research players and teams before the draft. Too many fantasy team owners waste their late picks on players they pick from a cheat sheet. Draft one of the top 5 defenses. Even if you need to use an early pick, a top 5 NFL defense is worth it in fantasy football. Do not draft all players from your favorite team. You are biased and will end up with a less than stellar team.
