Microsoft’s Zune is a portable media player capable of playing audio and video files. The Zune is fully compatible with Windows Media Player. Using WMP, you can transfer music directly to the Zune. Windows Media Player can also convert any incompatible music to a compatible format before transferring to the Zune. The Zune supports WMA, MP3 and copy protected WMA audio formats. Open Windows Media Player. Connect the Zune to your computer using the USB cable. After a few seconds, Windows Media Player will detect the Zune. Click the “Sync” tab. Drag and drop any audio files that you want to transfer to the Zune to the “List” window under the sync tab. Access files already in the Windows Media Player library by clicking the “Library” button. Right click the file(s) you want to transfer and select “Add to List.” Click the “Start Sync” button to begin the transfer. Any incompatible files will be converted before being transferred to the device.
