You can update the maps on your TomTom device at any time with your GPS unit and a computer. If you are out on the road and you believe that your maps are out of date, or you are having difficulty finding a location, you can update your maps with just a few simple steps. Attach your TomTom device to your computer. Power on the TomTom unit and wait for your “HOME” screen. Click “Login” on the “HOME” screen. Enter your login information for your TomTom account. TomTom HOME will notify you of any available updates. Click the box beside the map you wish to download and click the “Update and Install” button.
