Since 2006, Nintendo DS has offered a service that allows you to download demo versions of upcoming video games. Known as a “Nintendo DS Download Station” and available at participating retail stores, such as GameStop, this is a free service to you. All you need is your Nintendo DS. You can keep the game as long as you do not turn off your Nintendo DS. Once you do, the demo vanishes until you download it again. Bring your Nintendo DS to a participating retail store. Call ahead to ask whether they offer the service so that you do not waste a trip. Remove any Nintendo DS cartridges from your system if you have it set to start playing automatically when a DS game card is inserted.
