How Do You Download Microsoft Office Document Imaging?
Imagine a bookshelf as wide as your living room wall and as tall as the ceiling; imagine also that it is stocked with different books and documents. Ask yourself how much space you could save if the information contained in those books and documents was crammed into a digital medium and saved onto a computer hard drive. The process of scanning paper documents and converting them to digital images is called “digital document imaging.” Microsoft has document imaging software; it is available for download from the company website. Log on to the Internet and visit Microsoft’s website (a link is available in the Resource section). Click the “Download” button at the top of the blue box. The file you will be downloading is called “MODI2003.exe.” This file contains the software to run Microsoft’s Office Document Imaging program. Save the file to your computer’s hard drive and wait for the download to complete. Find MODI2003.exe and double-click on it. Follow the instructions on the setup wizar
