How do you download Emulators onto a Modded Xbox?

I’m new to the whole emulating thing. I downloaded a few emulators to transfer to my xbox to use, my question is do i transfer the whole zip file to the xbox or do i need to open it up and transfer something after I open it. I did have a few Emulators on the Xbox when I got it, but some how I deleted them when I was messing around with the files and now the Emulators are not showing up on the menu list on the Xbox. I’m new to this and think I really screwed this up big time. Any help to fix this would be great.
