How do you download brushes for GIMP and/or Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0?
I’m not sure where your computer saves your downloaded files to, that you’ll have to find out before installing them. To install the brushes in GIMP: On the GIMP window go to file and select Preferences. A new window will pop open. On the left-hand side look for the Folders icon. Click on the “+” sign to expand the folder. Look for the brushes folder. Click on it. On the right-hand side of the window you will see the path of where your brushes will be stored. Once you copy the new brushes to one of those directories you should be able to restart GIMP and have them show up in your palette. I hope this helps.
