How Do You Download AVG Anti-Rootkit Free Edition?
If you need antivirus software but don’t want to pay for a large commercial suite like Norton or McAfee, there are many free utilities available to you on the web. One such utility is the AVG Anti-Rootkit tool, which can be downloaded from the company’s website. Go to the AVG website (see Resources below). Click the tab labeled “Products” on the homepage. Click the tab labeled “AVG Anti-Rootkit Free” on the left side of the “Products” page in the box that contains links to other AVG products. Look for the box in the middle of the page that compares the features offered by the Anti-Rootkit Free Edition and the complete AVG Internet Security suite. There should be a download button for each of these packages. Click on the one in the Anti-Rootkit’s column.
