The Sims 2 was originally created as a computer game, although it’s also available for gaming consoles. Players control the game’s characters, known as Simolians, as they navigate around their society. With the PC version, players can download and install characters rather than build their Simolians. Install the Sims 2 onto your computer if it’s not already installed. Go to the Sims 2 website. Register your game and choose a user name and password. Other websites offer Sims, including celebrity lookalikes, created by other players you can download (see resources). Select “Exchange” from the menu at the top of the homepage if you are downloading from the Sims 2 website.
