How Do You Download A Wpd File?
WordPerfect is a word-processing application that was popular before Microsoft Word. You may come across a WordPerfect (.wpd) file that you need to download and open. If you have WordPerfect or Word applications installed on your computer you will be able to easily open the file. Click the icon or link to the .wpd file that you found on a website or that was sent to you in an email. Click the radio button next to “Save File” in the dialog box that appears. Hit the “OK” button. The .wpd file will be in the location on your desktop that you have designated for downloads. Open Microsoft Word or WordPerfect. Hit “File” in the main menu bar. Scroll down and click “Open.” Find the .wpd file that you downloaded. Make sure that the “File of Type” field is on “All Files (*.*)” if you are using Word. Highlight the file and hit the “OK” or “Open” button. The file will open.
