It’s not uncommon for Internet Explorer to come out with newer versions of their product, but often programs on the Internet are not yet compatible with the new version. Some people may have no problems at all, but miss the familiarity of the old version. It’s easy to downgrade from Internet Explorer 7 to Internet Explorer 6. Locate the Start icon on the lower left toolbar. Click the “Control Panel” icon, which opens a new window. Choose the “Add or Remove Programs” icon. This opens another sub-window listing all of the computer’s programs. Highlit “Windows Internet Explorer 7” in the list and click the “Remove” button. A warning window appears advising that other programs may be linked to this, but reinstalling version 6 will address this problem.
